Having a morning and evening routine can help you reach your goals faster, because you stay focused on what’s important!

There are many reasons why morning routines are helpful. First, once you get into a daily routine that works for you & sticks, it helps you beat procrastination. An ideal morning routine will put you in a good mood, make you feel joyful and excited, and make you feel like you’ve accomplished a lot in just a few blocks of time.

The specific morning routine described below starts with a full night of restful sleep. Before we get to the routine, it’s important to address the topic of proper rest.

It’s important to prioritize getting enough sleep each night, because it can lead to serious health problems if you are not getting enough. Research shows that getting between 7-8 hours of restful sleep each night is ideal.

Adopting a proper morning and evening routine will help you to get proper rest at night, because if properly scheduled then they can allow you to wake up at the same time on a consistent basis.

Morning Routine for Successful Entrepreneurs

1. Rise with intention, earlier than everyone else if need be

This will allow you extra alone time if you need it.

2. Exercise your body

This helps jump-start your energy. Studies have found that exercising before breakfast helps you burn twice as much fat as opposed to exercising after eating breakfast. Exercising before breakfast was also shown to improve overall health.*

3. Shower or bathe & dress

Putting effort into your appearance signals confidence and high self-esteem.  “Dressing for the job you want instead of the job you have,” is a well-known phrase, because it gets you in the right mindset.

4. Eat a healthy breakfast

This will honor & fuel your God-given body,

5. Refer to your goals and dreams

Keep a list accessible and visible at all times.

6. Write in and update your planner

7. Spend time in God’s Word, with journal and prayer time

Evening Routine for Successful Entrepreneurs

1. Eat a nutritious dinner

This helps you honor & fuel your God-given body

2. Allocate time to working on your business

This could be scheduling posts, videos, working on your website, etc.

Instead of zoning out on your phone or watching tv, make this a priority.

3. Update your progress on your goals, and refer to tomorrow’s goals

4. Rest or read before bed

Make sure you don’t have blue-light exposure for at least 30 minutes before going to sleep.
